VeeFriends X Reebok Classic Nylon Aspiring Alpaca

Reebok and VeeFriends, the entertainment company created by Gary Vaynerchuk, will soon be dropping on footwear collaboration centered around the Reebok Classic Nylon. Dubbed the VeeFriends X Reebok Classic Nylon Aspiring Alpaca, this collaboration gets its inspiration from one of the 283 VeeFriends characters drawn by Vaynerchuk, the Aspiring Alpaca.

Aspiring Alpaca encourages people to pursue their dreams. For that reason it is the perfect marriage with Reebok’s aspiration to create opportunity, products, and inspiration for individuals to reach their full potential.

“As a 1980s kid and pop culture enthusiast, you can imagine how thrilled I am to collaborate with Reebok,” said Vaynerchuk. “Everyone in the ‘80s was rocking those iconic sneakers, so I’m incredibly excited to extend VeeFriends to another consumer product like sneakers, which is at the forefront of popular culture. Working with the Reebok team has been a pleasure, and I can’t wait for everyone to rock the VeeFriends Aspiring Alpaca Classic Nylon.”

The VeeFriends X Reebok Classic Nylon Aspiring Alpaca features a nylon upper with suede overlays, the VeeFriends logo in the windowbox as well as the original Series 1 drawing of Aspiring Alpaca on the tongue. Celebrating the collection, the creative campaign features three individuals – Shahreen “Katz” Ahmed, Christian Robles, Esma Shmeit – selected from the VeeFriends collectors’ community who embody the ethos of Aspiring Alpaca.

Retailing for $90, the VeeFriends X Reebok Classic Nylon Aspiring Alpaca is set to release on August 24th on Reebok.com and shop.veefriends.com.
