Melle Mel has fired back at Eminem with a diss track of his own, although the song remains unnamed. The track was released on YouTube on Tuesday, and the accompanying video is titled “Melle Mel’s Response to Eminem’s Latest Diss.” In the song, Melle Mel takes aim at Eminem’s reputation, questioning why he criticizes The Game when he himself has criticized Melle Mel. He also pokes fun at Eminem’s inclusion in the Hall of Fame, comparing it to putting Pee-Wee Herman in the same position. Melle Mel further taunts Eminem by suggesting he is not as tough as he claims and takes a shot at his alleged drug use. In a previous interview with The Art of Dialogue, Melle Mel attributed Eminem’s success in hip hop to his race. Eminem responded to Melle Mel’s remarks in a guest verse on Ez Mil’s new song ‘Realest,’ where he insults Melle Mel’s physical appearance and suggests he takes steroids. Melle Mel’s diss track, however, falls short of delivering a powerful response, according to critics.
