Lauryn Hill and The Fugees to Embark on 25th Anniversary Tour for ‘The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill’

Ms. Lauryn Hill is set to embark on a tour to celebrate the 25th anniversary of her influential debut solo album, “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.” The album, which was released on August 25, 1998, will be performed in its entirety during the 17-date tour, which will visit arenas around the world. The tour will also mark the reunion of The Fugees, who will co-headline the tour on all US and Canadian dates.

In a statement about the album and its impact, Lauryn Hill said, “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill is and was a love song to my parents, my family, my people, my musical and cultural forebears, my teachers, my loves, my Creator. I wrote love songs and protest songs about the subjects and interests that inspired and moved me.”

The tour will kick off on September 8 in Minneapolis and will include stops in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and other cities, as well as dates in Australia and New Zealand. Citi cardmembers will have access to presale tickets, with the public on sale beginning on August 25.
