Rapper B.G. from Hot Boys Freed After Serving 11-Year Prison Sentence

New Orleans rapper B.G., known for his work with Lil Wayne and Juvenile in the Hot Boys group, has been released from prison after serving a 12-year sentence for gun possession and witness tampering. His close friend and Cash Money CEO, Birdman, warmly welcomed him home with gifts during an Instagram Live session. B.G. was overwhelmed with emotion as he reunited with friends and family upon his release. He had been arrested in 2009 when police found stolen firearms in his car during a traffic stop. B.G. pleaded guilty to two counts of firearm possession and one count of conspiracy to obstruct justice. He was sentenced to 14 years in federal prison.
